The Pokémon Origin story should have been an entire fucking series. The art style, battle style, and characters were way better than regular Pokemon.
A character that faces no adversity and doesn't learn anything is fucking boring to watch. It works in the games, but not in the fucking anime.
Red is perfect. Red is a fucking boring character. At least Ash actually learns things and develops. At least he meets new people and has to overcome obstacles.
