If half of my list wasn't weak, I'd totally use that as a team. Unfortunately, I don't fall under masochism, so I don't go online with said team.

In showdown, I use Rest/Roar/Toxic/Cotton Guard with one of them sleep-curing berries, I forget what they're called. He can sit on just about any non-boosted physical attacker with no problem and once he gets in the two turns of set up with cotton guard, if the dude isn't immune to toxic, they just sit there and die. If the dude is immune to toxic, it goes on until they switch/run out of pp/forfeit.

I might try running a calm mind set on it sometime, though.`

This guy. Surf and Parabolic Charge are a godsend for hoards and EV training. And Parabolic Charge + Charge makes it extremely great with the hp heal + extra boost. And Dry Skin makes it a perfect switch in for my Delphox when it comes up against water.

Got to be dragalge. I caught one late in the game because I wanted a surfer that wasn't lapras. Little did I know that it would become the powerhouse of my team.
Up against a gym leader/E4 and my other guys are getting wrekt? Send out Dragalge, and clean house. Need to power level some new kids in the restaurant? Shit, Dragalge will do that AND get you max balm shrooms.

It's the first pokemon I've gotten to 100 in Gen VI, and the first into my heart.

same here, needed a surf slave and caught this guy. The way I understood your combo to function was being ensured to live a special attack because of sturdy's last gen mechanics and then retaliate with mirror coat. The thing is, this gen sturdy does not guarantee you live that hit like it would have done last gen as the only thing it actually does this gen is prevent moves that always (ignoring the conditions or 'mons it is used by or on) knocks out the other pokemon (like horn drill and sheer cold).
