Reshiram and Zekrom are two halves of one Pokemon. The Pokemon is commonly known as the Original Dragon and was never actually revealed. The myth in-game is that the Original Dragon was used by two twin brothers, but because of their difference in ideals and the fight that resulted it split itself into Reshiram and Zekrom.
N hates that Pokemon are kept with trainers to fight and get hurt. He notices that the player has special bonds though and all that shit and he kinda starts to change his mind a little, saying if all trainers were like MC he wouldn't have any reason to do what he's doing. By the end of the game he's just like >what the fuck do I do with my life everything I know is wrong
so then he flies off mysteriously on Reshiram (I played White)
Team Plasma itself, other than N actually doesn't give a fuck about Pokemon liberation. They just want no one else to have Pokemon so there would be nobody to stop them when they tried to take over the world.
N's not even their real leader, Ghetsis just used him.
