why do Gen VI trainers only have one or two pokemon?
Like, how the fuck do you even get to fucking VICTORY ROAD with two under leveled pokemon with shitty movesets.

even with no EXP share this game is piss easy compared to emerald and platinum.

Most trainers have other professions keeping them from becoming full fledged trainers with an autistic amount of boxes filled with perfect IV mons like the player does. Gym leaders follow the standard battle of 3v3, too bad the player can completely ignore that and use a full team.

Veterans don't have an excuse though, fuck that noise.

oh god damnit that makes sense. it's actually probably what gamefreak was going for.

FUCK. they better get rid of this bullshit in VII. no one would even willingly play 3v3 if it wasn't for GF forcing it down our throats.

Well this game isn't something like Dark Souls where it's sole purpose is to be a real complexing challenge. I didn't have much more trouble playing Emerald or Platinum than this game or any other Pokemon game I've played. It's geared for 12 year olds. You gotta find other ways to make it challenging.

But fuck I wish GF would support 6v6 matchmaking or make a Battle Facility using full teams. 3v3 is just too limiting on both sides of the battle.

Yeah this bugged me too.
Like in that battle on the bridge with all your "friends", how did they get that far, none of their pokemon even know surf.

I think it'd be pretty annoying if every trainer in Victory Road had 6 pokemon even if they logically should.

Most trainers in Gen 1 only had 2-3 pokemon too.

If by "a workout" you mean "overlevelled" and you don't mind having to run back to a pokemon centre to restore pp after clearing a room of trainers.
