Barbacle isn't half as broken as Cloyster is. Believe it or not, there are some pokemon that can balk a hit from a boosted Barbacle. Some can take a Cloyster attack, but see... Cloyster has Skill Link.

This nigga learns SSmash and has the Pickpocket ability? So ideally you could run White Herb, use SS and then steal the item after attacking the next turn? Pretty risky i.e. cool.

IDK if many non grass types still carry grass knot still, since i haven't been playing competitively lately, but it seems to be a high rish strategy to use him, also since pokes like closyter can use shell smash arguably more effectively than this guy.

Shit like D Dancers, Naruto Chicken, and Agility users will give him a real hard time as Adamant.

He already has 618 Attack after ONE Shell Smash as Jolly. Not to mention Tough Claws is basically another 30% attack on Stone Miss and Cross Miss.

It does. Stone Miss was non-contact in Gen V, Razor Shell was contact. They traded for Gen VI.
