One of the best looking Pokemon but its just so...mediocre. Needs a Mega that gives it some supreme bulk and a nice topping to its ok-ish attack.

Dude is a surprisingly good tank, used him in OU last gen to great effect. People are so used to Rotom Wash they switch in their Garchomp forgetting that Lanturn gets Ice Beam.

Perhaps it is more in the ways of vocal opinions? People content with Gallade are less likely to speak and elaborate, thus making vocal groups seem far larger than they actually are. When that Gallade thread has been made, I was surprised myself to see a lot of positive voices as opposed to what goes from time to time on a daily basis.

I feel that Medicham would have gained more benefit from regular evo, than the Mega. Shame that new cross gen evolutions are no longer invented.

Come on man, Blaziken, Scizor, Gengar, Tyranitar, Alakazam, Lucario all got good megas and clearly didn't need them. Two unreleased megas are for Latios/Latias. Megas are just popularity contest prizes that let already good Pokemon shit all over the others.

The only decent unpopular Megas are Kangaskhan, Pinsir and Mawile.

Yeah, I know. It certainly did well to pave a way for it to return to much better competitive use.

Still, I cannot help feeling a bit sad that Medicham's Mega might as well translate to no developement for Gallade in upcoming releases and regions. Admirable sacriface, but who cares in the end about what has been sacrifaced.

I know it's fairly decent but holy shit, anything with giga drain rapes it. And that's sad, because even if it survives giga drain, the foe will most likely have most his HP back again. And relying on Ice Punch to take some grass fuckers out is just bad. It needs better counters. I know avalanche is good once it gets hit, but lets be honest. Swampert can not take a hit from grass attacks, at all.
