The Dream World was actually pretty fun if you downloaded that program that let you automatically explore the island and collect all of the items+meet all of the pokemon.

It was a god send, and I enjoyed having plenty of evolution stones, heart scales, nuggets and various other valuable items sent straight to my W2 cart.

I'd much rather they made Inverse Battles that common, and let you play inverse battles multiplayer

It's because of this shit we have pokemon in the air that shouldn't be in the air simply so they can participate in sky battles

Also I'm a bit pissed that they do this because it's not like they don't have ground animations, because they do for Amie. They could have made it to where they only use these flying animations in Sky Battles.

Clearly you haven't seen Tropius yet.

Meanwhile ma boy here has the single best flying animation in the game. Why some flying types got actual wing-beats while others just got a horrible static gliding, I'll never know. I would have loved to see Tropius struggling to stay aloft by rapidly flapping its four wings.

Like jumping, flapping for a few seconds and touching the ground again.

also dont' forget Salamence is just levitating. Pokemon X made me realize how stupidly designed its wings are, just like Mystery Dungeon did for Hydreigon.

This, god, it really bothers me. If a Pokemon could stay still during a battle it fucking would, it wouldn't exert pointless energy keeping itself in mid-air ALL THE TIME. Charizard is basically constantly wasting energy lifting 200 pounds. The only Pokemon that should be in mid-air all the time are the ones with Levitate. Flying Pokemon should be flying when relevant.

You know what's the best thing about them? Some flying Pokemon still don't have flying sprites. Well, those can't join sky battles.
Hell, Haunter can join a sky battle, but Gengar can't. It's just THAT amazing.
