So /vp/ why would anybody in their right mind use Charizard X over Charizard Y?

This could literally only be useful for escaping electric Pokémon without a switchout, other than that a weak Dragon type is hopeless in the meta game with the inclusion of Fairy type.

>Increased attack stat
Charizard's move pool was made for special attacking, the only use of an atk stat buff would be claw moves which are weak anyway.

>Dragon STAB moves
Literally the only move that could benefit from this Mega evo is dragon claw, with the Tough claws ability and buffed atk with Dragon STAB, but it's still nothing compared to sp atk buffed Drought intensified Fire specials.

Basically it just turns Charizard into a piss poor dragon rather than a top tier fire type, is their anything I'm missing here? How could anybody pass up drought? It's OP as fuck.
