They're at the standard ingame models should be- they're not terrible, but they're certainly not great by any means. They can be improved tenfold.

If a game doesn't have models that fit in with the art style, avoid jaggies and have competent lighting and shadows, then the game is probably low budget trash, or a bad game in general. Look at games like Half-Life 2, GTA, Dishonored, resident evil, far cry, crysis, red dead, sims, kingdom hearts, TWD, sleeping dogs, saints row, outlast, state of decay..
i can go on, but I'm honestly not going to list every single game that has competent models.
