It isn't confirmed so, and I can't stress how unlikely that would be. Bad Eggs are intentionally programmed in as error handlers, not - as Bulbapedo is suggesting - some kind of punishment for... being wonder traded a hacked Pokémon? I don't even know what they're trying to say, there.

It's some kind of glitch. WT could very well play a part in it, but Bulbapedo is very much jumping the gun with their details.

Reminder that a post on 4chan means fuck all, and that there's no confirmation from the guy who posted that video. The thread he started on gamefaqs has been inactive for quite a while, and that video is a couple days old and only mentions using the Wonder Trade, not to mention it being from before any type of hacking was known to be possible.

Though if there are confirmations of people getting these eggs through WT, then yeah, you have to be careful.

Eggs have always been in the games' data with the Pokémon. You can battle with them in GSC with a gameshark or the Celebi Glitch.
