If you put 252 in Special Defense, you're wasting a shit ton of EVs on a stat that (assuming you have 28-31 IVs in it, dunno if you care about that stuff though) can handle most special attacks without the help.
However, Gooey might be enough to discourage physical attackers since it lowers their Speed. It's still worth it imo so you can troll them by soaking up some damage from physical attacks while they get slower and slower.
HP might also be worth investing in. I read somewhere (probably on lelsmogon) that it helps to have all defensive stats as close to each other as possible. Dunno how credible that is, I think a build like that is better if you're trying to counter something in particular, like if you just want to piss off Aegislash.
Also, it learns Infestation apparently. You could try locking a special attacker and trolling. Being a stallfag isn't really recommended since your only recovery move would be Rest, unless you think ChestoRest sounds fun (leaving only two slots for special attacks, not much coverage there).
