What?

And Scizor? Blissey will never be one-shoted by him, and it can carry Flamethrower.
Chansey always have Eviolite and will laugh against BP and using Seismic Toss and Softboiled.

The critical hits are nerfed so that's not an option, either.

The fuck are you talking about? Especially with the addition of fairy type, and pokemon such as Dragalge, Klefki, Mega Gengar, etc., running about now, those two are pretty damn common.
And that's not mentioning Skarmory or Scizor.

What? Klefki? It doesn't use Steel type moves, its only attacking move (or only good one) is Foul Play.

Gengar and Scizor are the only popular ones you listed that would both run a steel or poison move and are actually popular. Scizor usually forced Blissey out with Superpower and Blissey is too bulky for even STAB Sludge Wave to be that much of a threat. I'd say Fighting is by far more prominent than both those types combined.

I'd personally would keep Flamethrower in a Stall vs Stall situation. Most of the fatty's are Steel and Grass-types anyways. Even then, you'd probably want to run Toxic against anything else that isn't Steel or Poison.
