It would be that same region with the soul stone shits and everything looking different due to the time period. Obviously they had good tech back then as well. No gym leaders either just generals in every region you stop as you go around putting an end to the fighting up into the older pokemon league where you battle AZ and his men to stop him from activating the machine. Of course they can make up some magical tech bs that lets you transfer your mons from another era. Why doesn't GF make this happen?
