However, mega formes ingame is REALLY REALLY badly implemented. It would be great if Sycamore just "invented" Mega Ring and want you to try it out, Mega Evo was new and every NPC was talking about it, yada2. But no, its a 3000 years old technology where there's a fucking castle with giant statue of Mega Lucario. There's the guy called "Mega Evo Guru." It totally takes out all the mystery. At least you and Serena were supposed to learn about Mega Evo, but she didn't even have one. It would be nice if GF can come up with underlying lore of how Mega Evolution works, like "every starters has megas" or whatever, but they can't because they're giving out Mega Evos out of popularity poll more than anything. Hence the incredibly retarded Mega Mewtwo X/Y when Mewtwo is only a couple years old by the game's timeline.
Retarded looking Megas like Mega Lati@ses are probably the last straw that broke the camel's back. Considering the new 70 Pokes were pretty decent, I wished we never have Megas in the first place that steals the spotlight
