While under the excited state, you have a greatly increased chance of getting random bags, including reset. You'll get a bag every 2-8 taps.
You will not get any bags if your bag inventory is full, so make sure to weed out the ones you don't use.
The excited buff will generally last long enough to get a handful of all the bags you want, RNG aside. If you use a training bag on the excited Pokemon, the buff will end once that mon finishes training.
The Team Flare bag will give the excited buff to the Pokemon.
I always have a Team Flare bag on me just in case I really need to get a random bag and none of my Pokemon are available.
