What? I'm saying that the game actually some semblance of difficulty with the Exp.Share off. With it on, you're hitting level 70-80 by the time you hit the E4.

I too found myself pretty underleveled. Too many good pokes to train this gen.

The great thing is, I'm not TOO underleveled, I'm at that sweet spot where I can still win, but not by just mashing A. I actually have to pay attention or end up getting my shit slapped.

I kind of wish they'd given you the standard Exp Share from the prior games, then after you became the champ give you Exp Share Plus, which would act like the current ones

How? Higher difficulty means higher consequences.

Things being too easy just makes the game a grind to get to the next town.

No, I'm going through the game quicker, since I'm not checking every nook and cranny like I did before, I haven't had to grind at all since the Amie EXP boost is enough that I'm at a good enough level to keep the game from being "spam surf to win", but not to the point where I have to spam potions 24/7. It's great.

In every past game I had one pokmone 20 levels higher then everything. In this game I had 5 pokemon 10 levels higher then everything. Both were just as easy.

I never grind. I just catch any new pokemons I see in a new area and fight all the trainers and keep moving.

Usually I'm about the same level as the gyms. I think in this game though it's a bit out of whack since you get xp from catching stuff too.
