they are the only legit shinies I've found in the wild. I really don't care much, most shinies are hideous
I don't bother with trying to breed them because I think thats a massive waste of time

First shiny ever was a tangela in silver, ran away at the first turn.
Second was a parasect in fire red.
After that I don't care about them, I catched some more and hatched one yesterday, but I always trade them for actually useful mons.

I got one Shiny in Pearl(Tentacool) but I don't even play it anymore. I've gotten Pokerus twice(once in Blaze Black 2 and once in X) and I've gotten like 3 critical captures(1 in Blaze Black 2 and 2x in X)

To add on to this didn't an egg on Crystal had like a 50% chance of being a shiny when you hatch it?

Not sure if it was on the 2nd gen remakes as I didn't play them.

I only seen one shiny and it was a Zubat on an emulator. To be fair I don't play Pokemon that much, mostly just nuzlocke once in a while.
