I'll be straight to the point /vp/

How does one go about creating a team capable of uttterly confusing, annoying and bluffing out their opponent? I want to be a master ruseman.

Togekiss with serene grace, thunder wave and air slash. Serene grace increases effects, thunderwave stuns them, and air slash hits them, with a chance to flinch (boosted by serene grace) each time. The enemy will have a very low chance of getting out of the stunlock, and all they can do is look at Togekiss's shit eating smile.

Next up is No Guard Machamp
No guard= 100% chance of landing devastating dynamic punches. Dynamic punches= 100% chance of confusion. From there, Substitute and apply toxic while your foe is fucking fumbling about trying to put its dick back in its pants.

As someone who runs troll teams on showdown rather often, let me give you a bit of advice.

First of, gimmick pokemon can be very valuable. They're usually easy to counter, as long as your opponent has a counter, otherwise your opponent is fucked. Take FEARon for example. It dies to burns, multi-hit moves, hail, negative priority, mold breaker, and entry hazards. Most teams have at least one of these, but if they don't, FEARon will sweep their team. So the solution is to combine multiple gimmicks that are countered by different things. So if, for example, someone sends out their skill link Cloyster against FEARon, you just switch to Shedinja.

So just start coming up with Gimmick pokemon.

Ones I like:
Focus Sash Shedinja
Contrary Shell Smash Shuckle
FEARon
Entrainment Durant
Blood Totem

And that's a start.

Using moves like attract can general piss people off
Ancient Power on togekiss/dunsparce however the odds are still against you on getting the all stat buff so its mostly useless

Kind of hard to miss the names they scream for stuff though. And it's easier to write "Blood Totem" than "that one Sigilyph Psycho Shift set that passes burns while buffing itself with Cosmic Power."

And I got it off someone else on Showdown before ever seeing Showderp threads. Psycho Shift/Cosmic Power Sigilyph is not a new thing.

Have a lot of typical stall pokemon, but they are actually banded or setup sweepers. Will ruse hard and may win some games.

The team is still gimmicky as all hell, but if you have just one super gimmicky 'mon, your opponent will just steamroll it like nothing. This has way more potential to piss people off, even if you're losing most of your matches.
