all right, i'll give it a shot.
first thing, get two parent pokemon that have IVs that intersect with each other. like the example in the picture, say you had a female Fennekin with 31 HP and 31 speed. you'd pair it up with a ditto that has 31 defense, 31 special attack, 31 special defense. HP will be the wildcard stat.
2. put them in the daycare and make them make an egg. talk to the daycare man and refuse the egg. save.
3. get another egg and hatch it, then check its IVs:
say it hatched with 31 HP, 31 DEF, 31 special DEF. that means it inherited its HP, special attack, and speed from the mother. it inherited its father's def and special defense.
4. reset your game. remove the parent pokemon from the daycare and place a mother that has 31 HP, 31 SPATK, 31 SPD, and place a father that has 31 DEF and 31 SPDEF.
