I 6-0ed a couple people with Gyarados in DPPt, haven't really metagamed much since, but he's been one of my favorites since day one.

It helped that he had one of the most amazing sprites in the original games. You knew right away this was nothing to fuck with.

We could have used another Dragon/water, but still Gyarados is solid, unlike Charizard he doesn't really need that evolution, It is perfectly viable as is like Tyranitar
