How are XY for a Nuzlocke compared to other games? Are they seen as easy or hard?

I'm thinking of restarting a Nuzlocke with Froakie as I just finished with Chesnaught.

seems like the best so far with tweaking difficulty with exp share.

Some novice nuzlockers might like the exp share, whereas more seasoned veterans would fine decent difficulty with it off.

It's way too fucking easy. Even when I first started playing I only had 1 or 2 pokemon faint throughout the game. I think I might try a 6 pokemon or less +other restrictions run to make things a bit more difficult.

XY Nuzlocke: Wonder Trade Edition
>No Exp Share.

That sort of entirely defeats the purpose of a nuzlocke and doesn't give you any way to lose ever unless you completely get 6-0'd.
And even then, there's a chance you could always just get a level 70 hydreigon or something as one of your trades.

Easy for the most part with some definitive hurdles on the way. 2nd gym's Amaura can potentially fuck you up with STAB Ice Take Down if you don't see it coming (I went in blind on my first run and this OHKOd half my party)

Clemont can be tough too, due to the game stopping you from going anywhere beyond Lumiose and grinding to reach level 38+ when the wilds are a most level 28 is a bitch.

Nah, you should still be limited to one pokemon per route, as soon as you catch the first one wonder trade it. When the pokemon dies, you should release it instead of just wondertrading again.

Every gym you are allowed to take one pokemon that was kill and trade it for another egg. No catching anything else.

I wish they didn't give us exp share, I didn't realize my mistake until it was too late. I also wish Tyrunt wasn't capable of solo'ing the entire game.
