We literally have no idea since each gen has been pretty different from each other.
But a safe bet would be that at least one of the legendaries will be released to tie in with a new game.
My personal guess:
>Special Vivillion: This winter
>Special Vivillion 2: This spring
>AZ's Floette and Hoopa: Summer and Fall of Next Year
>Volcanion and Diancie: Not until the new games, probably with new forms. Volcanion with two if they're Ruby and Sapphire remakes, but only one if not.
>Mega Lati@s also to tie in with R/S remakes, but just to tie in with a promotional anime special if not.
