scyther is difficult to come across in game, also Metal Coat is very easy to miss without looking up guides for it or farming it off of magnemites etc.

I made a thread about this yesterday but I'll post it again with a little update:

By fat the easiest way to get legendaries. I was planning to trade a couple of those Xerneas and Yveltal for the Kanto legendary birds but I realized it's much easier to just trade Froakie for them and keep all the legendaries to myself. Needless to say, there's another Froakie with the same message currently at GTS hoping to be traded for Xerneas.

I put up a Kangaskhan and labeled it "5IVJollyScrappy" and traded it for Xerneas.

It actually did have the 5 perfect IVs, was Jolly, and had Scrappy. I wanted one for myself but ended up hatching two good ones in one batch. I hope the moonrunes player that trusted me and traded enjoys it.

No shit m8. During the first week most people were just playing the story and kids thought it was an epic ruse to put early route shit in Wonder Trade. Now that all the kids have gotten bored for receiving Bunnelby for their Bunnelby and stopped trading, the quality of Wonder Trade has, like you said, gone through the roof. I actually get more good and decent than bad stuff and hardly any elemental monkeys / Bunnelby / shitty bugs. All the Pokemon that I put in Wonder Trade have at least one of these traits:
>Hidden ability
>Egg move
>Optimal nature
Also, all of the Pokemon I trade are somehow useful, so for example a Jolly Weedle doesn't qualify as "has optimal nature" because the Pokemon itself is shit. The crappiest Pokemon I've traded is probably non-hidden ability Purrloin with Foul Play. At least others can use it to breed Foul Play to their Prankster Purrloin.

I got Honedge with an STD over wondertrade from the Japs.

HP is the only one Ditto needs but that's only with regards to battling.
In terms of breeding whatever IVs you don't have on the poke being bred are important.

I asked a Xerneas for my Ditto.

There's a good reason behind it, though - It's a 5 IV31 Ditto from the Safari. It may still be there, but I don't guarantee it

Outside of it, got lots of lv1 pokes for Eevees, Beldums and Dittos, which helped me fulfill my regional dexes. Nothing spectacular.
