I started using him because I like the luchadore look and would get rid of him when he stopped being useful. But he never stopped being useful and eventually crushed the champion. A real partner to the end.

Sadly, Mega Blastoise will likely be better than him in the long run because better base stats.

Realistically though, Clawitzer and Mega Blastoise have a unique skill that should see play.

Clawitzer might have to be on a Trick Room team however.

This motherfucker right here, I tried him out in my team and I fucking love him. He has abilities to abuse any weather condition, he is fast as fuck and deals tons of damage. Not to mention hes an electric pokemon that can learn Surf, SURF NIGGA. After 1 battle he instantly became my favorite in my team

My negro! Maxing it out in HP and Atk was the best thing I did. Sweeping absolutely everyone (in the game and random battle requests from passerbys, though, but still). Plus the design is sweet as hell and the battle animations.

Talonflame, Tyrantrum, Dragalge, Hawlucha and even Barbaracle too. I have also become very fond of the two Grass/Ghost Pokémon over time. Shiny Pumpkaboo was the first Shiny I ever caught, and I traded it away for three other shinies. I regret it now.

Tyrantrum definitely. I didn't really expect to like him and was honestly going to pick the other fossil, but something made me want to pick him in the moment, and he was a king on my team throughout the game.

Chesnaught saved my ass more times than I can count. Malamar's so cool, especially with that Contrary ability I got from her. Talonflame can wreck any Fairy types, since she's got Steel Wing. Furfrou's too pissy to not use, oh jesus. Vivillon is absolutely splendid! She singlehandedly defeated Malva with that Powder move of hers. And Azumarill (shut up, type retcon's a good enough reason) one-shots everything.

...I just realized that my Vivillon's my only Special Attacker. Huh.

Same here. It's really bland, though I guess that makes sense for a normal-type.

I really wish his hood was always outstretched instead of only doing so while attacking.

The Assault Vest made a Thunderbolt from Mega Mewtwo only do a quarter of it's hp.
One shotted the fucker with a Dark Pulse afterwards.

Dragon Pulse is pointless since it's only super effective against Dragon and with already having Water, Fighting, Dark you don't have much that can resist your moves already.
Go for either Sludge bomb for wrecking Fairies and Grass types or Ice Beam for Dragon and Grass.
Azumaril will also wall you to fuck unless you have Sludge Bomb.

For me they just feel a little... impersonal I guess. One of the great things about this franchise is that you can normally find something that both appeals to you and does the job, be it for ingame/competitive/whatever. Legendaries though tend to get shoved in your face to a greater or lesser degree in each of the games, so using them is less a matter of choosing something you like out of a wide selection and more a case of being given the "best" (even though they aren't always) on a silver platter.

This is an emotional response, not a logical one though. And even amongst the legendaries, reception is varied. I happen to love the Regi's, the lesser trios in general tend to be reasonably popular.

Have to give it to Clawitzer. Was a major staple of my team and wiped a good chunk of the E4 with him alone. Checked his IVs afterward, and he had a 31 SpAtk. Wish his base stats were a bit higher, but I still love him nonetheless. Hawlucha, Heliolisk, and Aegislash also get honorable mention.

You probably haven't played Pokemon X/Y yet but I can tell you that Heliolisk is the fucking epitome of glass cannon and usually falls to a single neutral move. If you can't outspeed and OHKO your opponent, it's fucked.
Source: personal experience
Helioptile was nothing more but dead weight until it evolved and knew both Surf and Thunderbolt. I still regret that I trained it.

Hawlucha was the first Pokemon in X/Y I knew absolutely nothing about, so when he pounced out of Route 10 it was love at first sight, the cry the pose, the oddball concept. Flying Press looks amazing.

Only downside, despite being flying/fighting he can't take part in sky battles.
