The Bittercold just nondescript prods you in the butthole over and over. Should've let you fight with your partner and summoned smaller adds/shades of Pokemon/manifestations of sorrow/despair/hopelessness to actually add difficulty of a degree.
A shame too, because the Bittercold has a REALLY good battle theme.

They aren't part of the world that you step into, they're elements shoved right into your inner circle of development and you have to deal with their words and problems on an intimate level, which detracts from the player/partner relationship GREATLY, which is very very VERY bad.
Emolga and Dunsparce are okay.Virizion, Umbreon, Espeon - the lot of them should've just been supporting characters.
