One day I was fucking around with my action replay, and wanted to see if I could get a full shiny team. I set it to "all shinies"

Then I started a new file, (this was in Diamond) and made my way to the lake to get my starter. Lo and behold, it was a shiny piplup.

Then my game crashed after saving, I don't know why.

So I restarted the game, re-enabled my cheat, and went into a patch of grass. The pokemon I encountered wasn't shiny.

So I was stuck in the situation where I didn't know if the cheat had worked or not. I may have just gotten my first shiny starter totally legitimately thanks to a faulty cheat. Or maybe it only bugged out the second time.

What hurts the most is that I will never know if it was legit.

I feel like all my pokemon secrets aren't things that would phase actual pokemon fans. I had something very similar to that happen to me. In my freshman year I had feelings for this girl and we had the same circle of friends. Floatzel's attack animation where it spins its tail is pretty hot. Just the way that some Pokemon(Dragonite, Girafarig, Mienshao) look turns me on too.
