Mike had had a hell of a lot of fun last night, dealing with the nightmares catching up to him all at once. That clown had caught up to him, not to mention that Garland guy and the robot warrior... With all that, it was a wonder he'd woken up at all. Even then, he was several hours late, needing several attempts both of his own and by his Pokemon team, and he STILL wasn't entirely there, as it were. He was having to be helped out to the ship where he was supposed to regroup with Kanto's military commanders... He hoped they understood, given the circumstances.

They would soon make their way to the shipping docks, a group of destroyers as well as transport ships sitting right offshore. The dock itself was pretty normal, just filled with the usual cargo crates galore and shipping containers, all which were waiting for loading. It was when they would pass one of these crates a person would seem to step out from behind it as if out of nowhere.

In all her time in Kanto, she'd never understood why Pewter City was really considered a "city" at all. The only really metropolitan building that stood out was the museum which dominated the landscape of modest houses and dirt roads. She giggled a bit, thinking the whole thing pretty silly.

Without thinking about it too hard, she hobbled in the direction of the Pewter Gym, taking a step inside to check out this apparent grand re-opening she'd heard about.

Eventually the two of them would reach the ships themselves, the sailors wordlessly escorting them aboard the ship before taking them down to some more private quarters, which seemed to previously have been the officers quarters... either they were famous, or they were simply treating them nice because they figured it was a one way trip.

The object was filled with necromantic energy. Rather than a typical phylactery, crafted BY a lich, this object seemed to absorb the soul of the wearer and transform them INTO a lich. Where such a wicked thing could have been crafted was anyone's guess.

Although the water mouse was certainly an expert at dishing out pain, it wasn't exactly a master of rolling with the punches, especially not from a big bad mountain of muscle like that.
