Usually quick balls; if those fail then I just spam Premier Balls or Dusk Balls or something. I tend to get good luck with 'em.

Only Pokeballs.
I use Premier Balls for certain species only, such as Pumpkaboo. I have this whole chart, it's crazy.

Why are the legendaries so god damn easy to catch in this game?

I caught Mewtwo on my first Pokeball, and it had like half health. The only one that gave me any trouble was Yveltal and that was because I kept accidentally killing it.

I agree...If they weren't placed absolutely everywhere, I'd be a lot less boring. Even in the anime you hardly see any other types of balls used.

Its nice to see a little variation once in a while, mix things up even a little

Anyway, they didn't change the catch rate for Mewtwo only the new trio is easy to catch.

You got lucky. Box legendaries have tended to be easy to catch since gen 4 but stuff like Mewtwo still has a high catch rate.
