Next, we have Espeon and Umbreon that evolve with friendship during the day/night with high friendship. I would argue that these are Eevee's natural evolutions. Espeon is the evolution from radiation from the sun, and Umbreon evolves from the LACK of radiation from the sun. Yes, there are sun stones and moon stones in the game, but these are radioactive minerals just as other stones, the sun itself is different.
Next, we have Leafeon and Glaceon that evolve in the proximity of a moss/ice covered rocks. I don't believe these are radioactive, but rather harbor parasitic/bacterial organisms that cause Eevee's evolution.
As for Sylveon....fairy magic?
