I apologize if you're sick of these threads by now /vp/, but was the Lavender Town music actually changed?

Obviously the creepypasta is full of shit, "hidden frequencies" are just the added unown images fucking up the original sound and the whole "syndrome" you might get is just placebo effect, but was the original Green/Red music actually different somehow? Or is that one bullshit too?
