Hey /vp/. Can anyone help me come up with a good build for Delphox?

I heard it gets Aura Sphere as an Egg Move... Is that accurate?

Gamefreak have explicitly ensured that Delphox doesn't learn any good moves, so no, Delphox getting good special moves would never happen.

If you ever wonder "does Delphox get this move?" the answer is no.

Because they're unavailabe ATM

I'm running a gimmick Power Herb Solarbeam to use that.
I'd run a White Herb Overheat but WH is consumed after the hit, not before, and don't work too well.

It can weaken both physical and special threats, still got both STABs, psyshock for wallbreaking, grass knot for rock/water/ground threats.

Actually you do. You just have to beat the Elite four 100 times and talk to Professor Sycamore. Afterwards you'll get an egg of your choice that has a special egg move.

Also, if you beat Super Smash bros 1p mode without taking a single it on Very Hard mode and only 1 stock, you'll unlock Metal Mario.

Magical Fire guarantees a -1 sp.atk drop for the oponent, while still doing respectable damage.

Combined with will-o-wisp it makes Delphox kind of hard to take down by either psysical or special sweepers who switch in.

Subsitute

Basicly Sub for Sucker Punch and status attacks, Weakness Policy makes it +2 on Sp. Att, Magician is useful unless you don't get a Choice Band or Toxic Orb. Only dropback is 104 Speed.

My Delphox rapes all dem Lucario and Blaziken users online. Funniest thing is that she's my main game starter, too.

Naive
Item varies.
Will-o-Wisp (Bring despair to your opponents face.)
Psyshock
Mystical Fire (Very useful against the right opponents.)
Flamethrower (For all your Lucario raping needs.)

Invested all my EV's in her SpA and Sp early on with super training.

They kicks some ass, man.

Didn't calculated EVs actually. But the point is it must have take a special super effective hit in order to activate Weakness Policy.

I didn't think about Wish set. But:

Wish
Protect
Will o Wisp
Magical Fire/Psyshock/Sub would be an ideal set, I guess.

Good point, I'm not making a sun team at all. Mine has a bad nature, so I might as well wait for the egg move list and start from scratch.
