Why is most fairy type so terrible? There could've been combinations with at least 10-13 types, especially woth the way they were being promoted but all we got were multiple normal combos, one water, two steels, one flying line, one electric, a psychic or two and a handful of pure fairies. And then there are Pokémon who actually deserved fairy typing like, Chansey or Audino. Or fairies that should've been dual typed, like Florges who should've been Fairy/Grass, or Granbull who could've at least been retconned to be Fairy/Fighting, Stantler really deserved Fairy/Flying. Hell, maybe even Altaria. If Whismicott gets Fairy'd why not Lilligant?

Second, the fairy type mediocre at best. Only 1 physical fairy type move and it has 90% accuracy. Moonblast and Dazzling Gleam are the only two that stick out best.
