I just caught a shiny adamant jigglypuff with 31 in hp and 25+ in everything besides speed. Sucks because wiggles got a Sp.A buff. Should I even bother with a dual screen/physical set with rough play?

Azumarill, Togekiss, and Xerneas are all great competitively. Xerneas obviously moreso than the rest, followed by Azumarill and then Togekiss.

Togekiss gets hit the hardest because it has no decent priority (E-Speed is physical) and ends up having Scizor shit all over it.

Azumarill is a fucking wrecking ball.

Slurpuff is complete shit.

Plus, its movepool isn't exactly amazing and most of its tricks are generic and shared with its fellow evolutions.

It's simply outclassed by Togekiss and Azumarill. Low defense does no favors against Dragons, either.

It takes physical hits surprisingly well if you go Bold nature. Non-STAB EQs from Dragonite can't 2HKO.

Then there's Hyper Voice if you're playing Pokebank. THAT's a huge boost up.

Not the same Anon, but Togekiss is essentially bulky offense, whereas Florges is sort of a special wall with enough stats in Sp. Atk to not be dead weight sort of like Sylveon actually. They have different roles.

That was just a grammar fuck up, I was comparing Florges role as a special wall with decent Sp.Attack to Sylveon as the two are similar. A good example of a special wall that is (mostly) deadweight is Blissey.

Sitrus Berry is another low maintenance berry to use due to its 50% health proc. Chesto+Rest allows you to use Dazzling Gleam for STAB, which is 60% stronger than Kiss while also giving you a semi-status immunity Petaya/Sitrus doesn't.
Both don't require lucky rolls to proc, unlike Petaya, and are thus more reliable.

It's gonna have a really good STAB move once pokebank gets opened since you can move tutor a hidden ability Eevee from Gen V with Hyper Voice, migrate it to Gen VI, evolve it to Sylveon, and, because of Pixilate, turn this move into a 117 BP move without even counting STAB and it ignores substitutes and dual screens. You will be able to do the same with Mega Gardevoir.
