Greninja is very frail.

It's already been stated, but if you Mach Punch before he starts his type changing silliness, you'll prolly OHKO him even if you aren't fully invested into PHY ATK.

He's very, very frail on both sides and lacks the HP to take multiple hits.

They're real fragile though, so if you've got a Pokemon who can take a hit, you can probably knock it out in one hit (Assuming it hasn't changed to a type that resists the move you're using)

Mach punch is also a viable option, seeing as you'd be dealing SE damage and have priority.

shooting for perfect IVs on this one.

I find Focus Sash Greninja to be fairly successful online, mostly because people don't expect it. If he can't 1 shot whatever my opponent thinks he can 1 shot my Greninja with, he can mostly 2 shot it.

But he's easily killed still. Priority attacks wrecks his shit hard.

Anything that it can't kill in one shot will probably kill it. Go for something with type advantage so you can resist its attacks (it usually goes with water, ice, dark and psychic ones).
As with all glass cannon, just take the hit and strike back with something you're sure it will be neutral to, at least.

If you're seriously having problems stopping this guy then you should quit. He's not even that dangerous unless you're packing like...sweepers with the defenses of Alakazam.

You can wall this guy with fucking Mega Aggron, his offenses are made for taking out other frail pokemon, he can't dent tanks and bulky sweepers that setup as well as priority wreck him.

He's an okay pokemon at best.

I just don't understand why people make it a lead when there are much better choices for that role. Its supposed to kill shit when everything weaken and crippled. Its offenses aren't like Infernape or what not in which it can actually wreck shit with great offenses. Greninja offensive stats are frankly really lousy. Unverisal Stab is the only thing that keeps him but from being completely outclassed.

That's with a positive speed nature, life orb, and 252 special attack EV's.

That's ~50% chance to OHKO, and over 90% with a sneaky pebbles. In return Ferrothorn can do about 50% with Gyro Ball.

Fair enough. As a note, I find it useful on fast pokemon (though there are obviously far better choices). It helps keep them first, and the boost above pokemon that happen to be a bit faster is always nice.

I was thinking Hasty too, but main reason I said Shadow Sneak was to hit Fighting and gain immunity, but then again it could be used for hitting Ghost as well. Thanks

It was just for Dragon resistance, Not sure about it myself, I thought about it over Ice Beam, but I like hitting Dragon and Ice AND having a chance to freeze. So just put Extrasensory over HP Fairy, or?

You shouldnt stay in on a goodra unless you're a physical set anyway. Anything else will be better than hp fairy
