They made most flying Pokemon have a flying animation just for these, even if the Pokemon would look better on the ground (Skarmory, Xatu, Charizard)
I would have liked it a lot more if they focused on an interesting battle type like Inverse Battles instead, instead of normal battles with a cloud background.
