Is Zygarde Shiny locked in X & Y? I have been SR'ing for a while in an attempt to get one, but I would like confirmation before I spend even more time to get one.

Pic related is the only image I have found showing one and I can't really tell if it is shooped or not.

No one has ever seen a shiny Zygarde. The picture in OP is just him using his special attack animation.

Part of the animation is him turning blue. Note the 'cells' being lit up, that's the other part.

I don't know why people still fall for this.

It uses Dragon Pulse, and we can't really get that much of a good look at it, but... it didn't look blue enough. To me at least, and I've been believing that image as fake.

Could be brightened, though. More saturation too, mixed with bad quality.

I think I will hold off on catching Zygarde until it is confirmed whether or not it can appear as a shiny.

The chance of getting a shiny is about 1 in eight thousand. around 125 people should have gotten them per million that reached Yvetal/Xerneas. Either they are shiny locked or those people didn't report them.

Then someone else basically said "What's the chance? How can you believe that?"

No one ever claimed that anon to be the first one to "found one shiny Yveltal". There might as well be more persons with one that never reported to have it as you say.
