Showderp is a place where we pick a champ who takes on PS OU with a team we give him. (The hell happened to the Marriland/Close all their tabs part?)

1) The first person to claim champ after the previous champ calls for a new one in the thread is champ provided that in the post he uses a name and tripcode to prevent impersonation. It is recommended that this name should be the same as the name used on showdown.
2) The first six posts following the call for a team and containing one legal suggested pokémon each determine the team. Some commonly used, named sets are stored in the pastebin.
2a) The tier is assumed to be OU (pokébank OU) by default, but the champ may call for an ubers team. Otherwise ubers are illegal and therefore do not constitute valid suggestions.
2b) If a pokémon is suggested twice, the second and subsequent suggestions are illegal and invalid due to species clause. If multiple suggestions for the same pokémon occur in the first six posts, the more specific suggestion should be followed unless it disagrees with the one that came first.
2c) Mega-evolution stones are to be treated as ordinary items. If a "mega" pokémon is called for, it must hold the appropriate item.
3) Champ may call for a new team at will, but it is suggested that at least 3 matches be played with a given team.
4) Forfeiting, disconnecting and timestalling are not allowed. The champ should fight all battles to completion.
5) Deliberately flouting the above rules may lead to impeachment. If the champ is notified that a rule has been broken, the champ must take steps to remedy the violation. In cases of impeachment, a new champ may be called without waiting for the impeached champ to resign.
