/vp/, i see a trend -- and not just on /vp/.

i think people take IVs too seriously; some even boast about it.
please don't get me wrong, /vp/, IVs are important. they are important, but they should just be a given, especially because they are easy to obtain these days. IVs won't mean anything if you can't build a team that works, and if you cannot efficiently predict and counter during battle.

i think people use "IVs" to mask their inability to battle, then get owned in secrecy, not telling a soul about it, while boasting about IVs.
