Spent a good bit of today trying to get a shiny female litleo ... and you don't even want yours.

And I HAVE a Shiny Gard that I'm willing to part with in BW ... but she's got shit IVs and nature if I had to guess.

Such a cruel cosmic joke ... I even decided to stop shiny hunting today cause this shit was giving me a head ache. Or at least I'm gonna stop until someone with more talent and devotion than I comes up with a break down on how to best use the radar in this game with the changes we have seen or some type of explanation as to how so many are lucking with the FS yet I send 2 hours running from shit there and get nothing.

Oh well ... guess I'm just gonna have to go with plan B til then (Wait til Dec to offer up some of my extra flawless shinys from my RNG breeding days for the 2-3 6th gen shiny Pokemon I really wait with hopefully not-shit natures and ivs..)

All have to show for my wasted weekend+half a week of shiny hunting is THIS. From the radar on the day-care path ... it's amazing cause it's everything I wanted (31 Def and S. Def with a White flower ... I was truly blown back with that. She's a Floette now, getting ready to evolve once she learns a few more moves. Maxed out her evs today after I decided to stop wasting my time with this radar.

I have a white flower Flabebe. I'm raising Azurill to breed with it. It's calm too, a nature it can definitely use. Maybe the shining patch was just because it had pokerus? I wonder.

No, the patch was shiny because it's a shiny.
I snatched up more than a few white flower Flabebe well chaining because if how unlikely I thought getting a shiny with a white flower was going to be (in hopes that I could breed a shiny from a white flower flabebe).

Yeah, well as a rule of thumb I think you should ALWAYS expect your shiny to have some lacking area unless you're breeding it.

I mean, how many RANDOM Pokemon do you find that have truly prefect stats in the right places to go along with their prefect nature? The game doesn't see shiny Pokemon as any different in that regard so it's FAR more likely to find a shitty useless one than a good one if you're randomly getting them or doing the radar.

My mistake was not hunting down a Pokemon with the right nature to lead the party and attract them in my chaining ... just decided to use my catcher Pokemon and run through it.

That's why people love MMing ... and RNG breeding. Only way to make sure you get what you want in a shiny. But now we have FS which actually makes random shiny Pokemon easier to get in the usable range ... too bad there's no radar allowed there.

I think it means the mon was catched in X or Y version since it has the same form as the map/the icon in the pokedex (I'm nearly sure about it)

I've been out of touch with this. What's the best to get shinies? I'm only aware of FS higher chances, chain fishing and the radar. And that destiny knot can inherit five IVs and everstone nature and a couple IVs.
Also that breeding pokemon of diferent regions has a higher chance of a shiny egg. Anything I'm missing?

Everstone doesn't transfer IV. Specific EV training items will guaranteedly pass down the designated stat. Females have a 80% chance of passing down their ability (60% if it's a hidden ability).
