When I went to clear out the Multi train the first time, I chose Shauna as my partner and got both of my pokemon knocked out by crits, along with her Goodra. With Sylveon, she proceeded to Misty Terrain, then used helping hand for the rest of the fight while the opponent did chip damage until it fainted.
Then the second time around, my ally used earthquake when there would obviously be no opponent and knocked my first pokemon out. The next turn, he proceeds to do the same thing and scores a critical hit on me, knocking me out. I still won somehow, but goddamn I don't trust the AI trainers at all.
