The same happened to Achroma in B2W2, who was named some kind of variation on that name in every language apart from English, which went with the cumbersome "Colress" for some retarded reason.

Same reason why the Unova-native Team Rocket Grunt that stole the Power Plant's Machine Part in GSC/HGSS, Earl Dervish and Fantina speak regular English in the Japanese games instead of broken English or French mixed with English. Heck, even Fantina's name is originally English, not French-like.
