So my brother finally got his internet working, we exchanged friend codes and are now friends... in the 3DS only.
He doesn't appear in my PSS friends, and while I can go to his friend safari, his picture is blacked out and the third pokemon won't appear.

Anyone have some insight to this, what might be causing it and if we can fix it?
