Find a Ditto with 0 IVs in speed. If you do this, it'll save you a lot of time getting 0 IVs for Trick Room mons.

Ah, well that makes sense. Would I have a better chance finding a 0 speed ditto in the friend safari or out in pokemon village?

You'd technically have slightly better chances at generating a 0 Speed Ditto in the Village, since the Safari will generate perfect Speed Dittos, but it would be better to have a Ditto with 0 Speed and two perfect IVs for breeding. Also, they're lower level and you might catch a 3IV Ditto in the mean time.

I got at least 3 Ditto out of 30 on a Safari with 0 Speed IVs.

There's an Ace Trainer in Kiloude PokeCenter who will comment on your Pokemon's IVs. If you have 0 in something he'll make a disparaging comment like >"But you won't be going anywhere fast with a Speed like that." after telling you the best stats.
