As far as fixing him either,
A) give him a mega with either increased attack so he can at least get the most out of his movepool or what

B) simply give him Scald and Earth Power, so he has better coverage. Solarbeam, Focus Miss and Extrasensory is decent coverage but nowhere near enough.
