How can I get friends online to play X/Y with?

As in not just people who hit and run trade/battle with me and mass add people from threads here and gamefaqs and serebii and god knows where else

People who would add me on skype or something and actually chat with me every now and again, people who I could use more of the in-game features with more often

None of my friends got X or Y because all my peers actually grew up
