So I'm sick of seeing Talonflame/Greninja/Aegislash on every team, what non TGA teams do you guys have, whether it's 3v3 or 6v6?

I have an Ambipom on my team, and until a couple of days ago a Poliwrath. Gonna replace my Tyrantrum with a Donphan too.

We'll see a lot more variety and hacked pieces of shit when Pokebank rolls out.

What moveset do you have on ambipom? I caught a shiny one and it had atk and speed IVs so I figured I'd use it, but Double hit/Aerial Ace/Power up punch/Taunt just isn't doing the work. I obviously can't get egg moves either...

Are you literally me? I caught a shiny Aipom too, with attack and speed. Right now I have him with Double Hit, U-Turn, Shadow Claw and Acrobatics with no item. I'll be honest, he hasn't really pulled his weight and I'm not sure of the best way to use him either. I just have him there for novelty mostly. The problem is that he can't learn Fake Out.

I run with life orb because if he's getting hit he's dead anyway. Aerial ace gets 90 base with technician, it's good coverage and has always-hit accuracy. Power-up punch is just for finishing blows to get an attack boost, and taunt is always useful, but I might switch out for U-Turn

Back when I played gen4 meta, I used an Azelf suicide Rain Dance lead followed by Swift Swim Ludicolo who wrecked everything in sight. Rarely did I have to bring out the rest of my team. Oh, the tears I used to drink.

Yeah, if you already have something with life orb, acrobatics is fine unless you can think of another item to use. I haven't checked but I'm pretty sure Acrobatics doesn't get boosted by technician if it's already boosted by the no-item part of it.

Talonflame was a confirmed bro since Fletchling showed his face. We've been waiting for a Peregrine Falcon since the 90s. I'm pleased that he's usable but I couldn't give a rat's ass that he's overhyped right now. I'm sticking with my boy and will continue using him long after the hype train moves on to the next station.

I am really, really happy he turned out not to be shit, though.
