You don't want the entraining more of your Pokemon, and Durant has pretty shitty defenses, probably took a hit just to get that entrainment up too.

I wouldn't call it all too unlikely to think you could kill that thing or something. Maybe you just want to keep your +3 boosts or something.

Good luck switching out of shadow tag/arena trap without making a mono-ghost team.

Sap Sipper+Aromatherapy in double battles. You can make it so your azumarill never cares about burns, and then get it to even higher attack than huge power would give it in three turns.

A lot of this shit just has its uses in multi-battles compared to Single.
Like Damp Jellicent. It may be immune to explosion in singles, but it stops your allied Pokemon from also being hurt by one of the strongest moves in the game in doubles and triples.

If you know about it beforehand. If you thought Durant with Traunt was useless before, you wouldn't ever think it would ever have any sort of applications, thinking your opponent is just trying to cripple you to 1/2 your turns when in reality they're just making a huge chance to set up.

Single is the most easy and simple of all and as someone who plays all the other more i find it really boring, plain and simple. The only "strategy" most of times is put hazards and switch to a counter of the other pokemon, so awesome...
