>>15711214>Mega Heracross although benefits from nothing having to take damage each turn its out from Burn While being entirely fucked over if it gets paralyzed or burned itself.
>plus it doesn't have to rely on Megahorn's 85 accuracy. (95 is SO much more reliable) It really isn't worth it considering the extra power on all of your moves, not just that. Heracross's Close Combat (should you choose to use it to forego bulk) and Stone Edge even hits harder than skill link rock blast.
>Plus Mega Heracross can take hits, its bulkyIt's still gonna die either way from something tossing you a peck, psyshock or ember. It's moderately bulky, just not enough to actually matter when it has such common weaknesses. Especially considering flying types ignore sticky web.
>Guts Heracross maybe stronger but M-Heracross is safer and longer lasting. It will have its niche in Monotype teams If you're running Monotype bug, Pinsir is a far improved Mega giving you two great slots on your team while giving yourself a Mega Heracross keeps your team entirely situationally "as good" at best for the sake of like, bullet seeding Rotom-Wash or something. But that's the entire extent as far as warranting its usage over any of the dozens of builds for regular heracross goes.
>and Sticky Web teamsYou could use the exact same Regular Heracross to be even more effective on sticky web teams. Not to mention you trying to be bulky and slow while having a flying type weakness isn't good when flying types are the only ones immune to sticky web. You might as well put Delibird on a VoltTurn team.
Give it Heal Order or something, then I could entirely justify it like how Mega Scizor is "weaker" than Choice Banded ones, but the bulk and roost give it opportunities to set up and hit much harder. Heracross wants to be like that, it's just really bad at it despite its ridiculous stats.
