Crobat, because back in the gen 1 days, Zubat was so annoying that I decided to just catch one on a bored whim during my trip through Mt.Moon and his supersonic and confuse ray made my future fights so easy that i kept him. in Gold I caught one as soon as possible because of my former experience with my Golbat and he was just as effective AND he had a new, cool evolution! i was so happy that gamefreak did that.
Lucario because I got the riolu egg back in Diamond, and I stuck with one since because even when he was still a riolu, he STILL managed kick some ass up and down a gym.
and considering that Lucario's already popular and Zubat being fucking omnipresent, i think i picked some loyal bros.
