The rates are certainly higher there though, so I wouldn't dismiss the method. A couple of them I found within half an hour of entering the Safari's, and the others were found up to 7 hours later, so it really is just a case of multitasking on lazy days and getting lucky.

It's the same method some people use for IV's, rejecting an egg breaks the old cycle. I haven't tested it, but they said they've gotten a shiny on it, and in theory if it works it lets you always have the o-power active

I'm kind of a stats buff so Masuda'ing (and IV breeding and breeding in general) is a huge draw to me because of all the numbers
